There's no combination of words I could put on the back of a postcard.

Guess who is back in Europe! The one and only Rachel. Now if only I can stay longer than 3 months this time. We will see how my visa paperwork goes through. But I will cross that bridge when it comes to it. I am going to file it on Monday I think. Or at least talk to a person who know what they are doing.

On the other hand, I had an uneventful trip over the ocean. I even got picked up at the airport by a friend of a friend. It was sweet and I didn't have to pay for a taxi. Funny thing is the guy had a Dodge Nitro SUV. I thought I had left the States and their ways behind. Guess not. LOL. He also had an iphone which I am sure are crazy expensive here.

My new flat is pretty amazing and I can't believe I am allowed to live there. I cannot wait till Lindsey gets here tomorrow so it won't be so quiet.

I went and got my transit pass for the city which allows me to ride the metro (subway), trams (street cars) and buses. Cost me about 93 bucks for three months. I would spend more than that in gas in a month. Wasssupp. The only good thing the communists did for the city.

Today I went to find a lake at the end of a metro line but couldn't find it so I just went to the park close to my house and chilled there for a while. I need to start working on lesson plans! School starts September 1st. Lots of planning must occur.

On my way looking for the lake I passed three old men sitting on bench. Not bums just some old guys hanging out. All three of them were drinking beer. Mind you it was around 1pm on a Thursday. One guy was acutally asleep with his hand around the bottle. Then at the park this girl staked out a spot to sun bathe and she had a draft beer in her hand. Where did that come from?! These people could give college kids a run for their money on any given night.

It's been kinda lonely the last two days without my roomie and all my teachers being out of the country. I just got word that one of my bestest friends (val cestoni) made it back from the jungles of South America. Now a whole group of my friends are going to see O.A.R. in Columbus tomorrow and I wish I was going with them... Oh, well. Can't have it all can we? I'll keep you posted soon!
