Carpets?

One day in Morocco, Su and I went to the higher end of the souks. We were wandering around this antique store looking at the beautiful things that cost a million dollars (yah, I converted it). This man came over and chatted with us.

Next thing I know the man is calling to his friend on the street to take us to his rug factory. Ok, cool. We are led through the small turning streets and I completley loose my sense of direction. He stops by this door and tells us there is a great terrace with views of the mountains. The thing is its through a spice shop. We go up to the terrace and its beautiful. Views of the mountain, etc.

We go down and get this whole spice tour as well. I end up with soaps and spices in my hand. How did this happen?

Finally we arrive at the rug factory. Piles and piles of rugs. All hand made. We are given mint tea and chairs. Two men start pulling down rugs as one man explains and talks.

Su ends up buying two rugs to the tune of 500 Euros. WHAT?! We were just looking at expensive antique stuff. Africa is random.
