Kathleen,
Let me tell you about a powerpoint presentation I did on the first day of school. It was all about me so the kids could get to know me a little better. One of my favorite slides starts off with the American flag and the quote, "George Bush, a great president or the greatest president?"
I loved the looks on their faces when they thought I was being serious. Then I put up some stuff on The Colbert Report. Which is my favorite tv show and the only one I ever watch. Well, not anymore since I don't have tv.
Yes, the last post stems from the fact that my teacher stated most of the anti-American feelings started in 2001 with the election of the young George...
On the other hand I want to inform you of a scary incident I experienced this weekend.
Saturday I went with my friend Tony to watch a rugby match. We jumped on the escalator to the metro and half way down say a man step on, loose his balance, and literally fall completley backwards. His head hit the metal stairs with a horrible sound. Then he continued to stay laying downish with his body going the wrong direction up. Tony ran down and ran up the other side to help him up. He was piss drunk. One of the sad parts about having beer cheaper than water.
Then on the tram Sunday I saw a man waiting who was wearing an orange, blondish, wavy, long wig. Yup...
Oh, I had the best pork chop of my life at the rugby club after the game. Delicious.
Friday was spent at a Mexican place followed by a place called The Beer Factory. Each table has its own tap and they play cheesy, amazing music.
Chris arrives tomorrow for a week of european adventures!
Whos next?!
