Chris should be on his way to the airport. Hopefully. His trip has consisted of him getting lost a lot... All in good fun right?
We had a great time together. It was nice having someone from home that understands what I am talking about or laughing about.
Since Prague is a small compact city it is easy to see all the touristy spots in a couple of days. Esp with an experienced tour guide like me... haha.
What Chris got to do as well is to meet a lot of my fellow teachers and friends. Europeans are very laid back and will sit at a pub/cafe for hours on end. We ended up doing a lot of this. The waiter takes their time getting your drinks, food orders, etc. A trip to a restraunt can take hours. It's not bad service, its just the way they do it here. In the states we think its bad service if the servers aren't on top of us all the time. We eat and then leave. Here they mull over an latte or another beer for hours.
One of my favorite parts of the city is this roof top restraunt. It is very expensive so I don't usually go there unless I am showing it to someone for the first time or I have guests. Even then we only get one drink. However, the service is so slow. One drink took Chris and I almost 1.5 hrs. The view though is totally worth it. You can see everything. It is amazing.
I got to do Petrin Hill for the first time with Chris. We climbed and climbed and it was really cold by the time we got to the top. The views were great and we got some good pictures.
Now, it is back to the grind of work. Planning on playing rugby tonight. Hopefully I don't break a leg or anything.
Yes Jen I remember Ross trying to play rugby. Hilarious. I sort of look like that esp since I have no idea what is going on. Hope your move to osu went smoothly. Did you get my message?
